The Tipi is a traditional North American Indian habitat. It is composed of long wooden poles leaning on each other and covered with animal skins.
At the Traversine, the Tipi is being revegetated: we have replaced the animal skins with climbing and perennial plants such as honeysuckle for example.
In a few months, the Tipi will be entirely covered with plants and will serve as a natural hut! In the meantime, the children enjoy meeting in small groups under the Tipi while wearing the masks of the future Traversine treasure hunt!
