It’s autumn, not the greenest season for Traversine, but the opportunity to prepare biomass for spring! Every day, the staff of the 3 establishments (kindergarten, elementary and college), sweep the schoolyard to clear the dead leaves.
Nothing was planned to recycle them, and they used to fil the city’s rubbish bins until now.
Since early September, we began to get weekly bags of leaves, more than a hundred bags. They are stored in two composting wooden containers that we placed on the garden, Another part was used to mulch the bins.
