Drilling at Yagma Garden

In order to secure the water needs of the school and its garden, The Ivory Foundation has committed financially to the completion of a drilling, which was carried out in April 2018. This drilling was a real success because it allowed to reach a water table at 55m depth with an estimated flow rate of 3 m3 / h.
This drilling will allow the college to achieve significant savings, and also improve the comfort of children and sanitary conditions, while ensuring a good hold of the garden throughout the year ..

Indeed, the laterite soil (red rock rich in iron and alumina), the high temperatures (52 ° C in the shade between March and June), and the lack of regularity of the water supply of the neighborhood do not facilitate market gardening. Drops in flow occur sometimes daily during periods ranging from 2 to 24 hours in the Yagma area, which can put crops at risk.
