Cooking class in St Monica

The young people of St Monica’s farm find themselves for the first time independent, in charge of preparing their meals.

The Ivory Foundation first covers their needs in basic products (oil, cornmeal, lentils and vegetables not available in the garden …) until they become autonomous with the garden’s production.
We have developed recipes with them that enhance the resources of the farm, to provide them with quality food at the lowest cost.

The artificial condiments have been replaced by natural spices (paprika, turmeric, curry).
We even cooked a rabbit with carrots, the rabbit being able to regularly provide them with meat, the hens being used for their eggs and not for their flesh.
